Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced potter, classes & camps are intended to teach you something new, as well as let you have some fun exploring the fantastic medium of clay.

While adult and teen classes will focus on basic wheel throwing or hand-building skills for beginners or Intermeditate levels, classes and camps for kids will expose them to the fun messiness of "playing in the mud." They will bring home fantastic projects that will be truly beautiful, educational and useful.  The classes can be tailored to meet the specific interests of any group or age, but will generally cover tasks associated with producing finished pottery on the wheel or hand-building.

Content covered in class:  wedging and clay preparation, hand-building or wheel throwing techniques for bowls, cylinders and mug forms, trimming, pulling handles, a variety of surface decorating techniques, and glazing.

Fee includes: EVERYTHING! That is, instruction, all your clay, use of in-studio tools and glazes, bisque and glaze firings and use of clay studio facilities for practice in between classes.  No prior experience necessary, ages 6 and up.
